The Challenge:

Grow revenue, strengthen the brand and attract patients for a nonprofit which had minimal name recognition and a relatively small fundraising program.


The Strategy:

Barton Cotton went to work to develop and implement a multichannel fundraising campaign. The solution began with mail—with integrated DRTV, digital and public relations added as program success grew. Barton Cotton, in partnership with the Moore DM Group division, orchestrated an integrated strategy that produced transformational success in terms of revenue and brand recognition.

The Results:

The program drove 233% donor base growth, 59% net revenue growth and 2000% brand awareness growth over four years. Today Shriners Hospitals for Children is the most trust Children’s Health Nonprofit Brand in America according to the Harris Poll and ranks #55 in The Chronicle of Philanthropy based on cash and stock gifts.
